Plans and access

Free to read. Paid to commission.

Everything PsychDoc publishes is free to read. A commissioned review is how an organization works with us, and a team workspace holds the seats it is delivered to. Invoices come from Violema, Inc. No card is needed.

Commissioned reviews

A review of one compound and indication, written for your decision with the same method as every public synthesis: every claim tiered and sourced, every limitation on the page. You receive it first, in private, with briefings.

Money buys speed, priority and private briefings. It never buys a conclusion, a say over one, or a look at one before it is signed off. Every commissioned review is published within six months of delivery, with the funder named.

What a review can be scoped to include is on the research briefings page. Read what a review delivers

Academic teams
from $10,000
Industry
$30,000 list, quoted per review
Living updates after a review
$1,500 a month, $500 for academic teams

Pilot pricing: we measure delivery cost on the first reviews, and a change applies to new agreements only. Scope, deliverables, the timeline target, the start of living updates and payment terms go into a one-page pilot letter before work starts, and the signed letter sets the fee.

Accounts and workspaces

Accounts open with the first pilots. Each one below says what it includes today and what is planned. Features released during your term are included at no extra cost; we name no dates.

  • Team workspace

    $2,400 a year

Included for a year with a commissioned review. Five seats; $300 a year for each seat after that. Invoiced annually by Violema, Inc.

For drug developers, funds, clinics and policy bodies that decide as a group.

    Today

    • A shared workspace with five seats and invitations by email
    • Your commissioned review and its living updates, sent to every seat by email and discussed on the briefing calls
    • Priority support from the people who wrote the review
    • A quarterly briefing call

    Planned

    • Unlimited questions with citations, for every seat
    • Figure and data exports
    • Alerts when a synthesis changes
    • The review and its updates kept in the workspace
    • A shared library
    • An API key

Ask for a team workspace from your account, with your organization's legal name, website, country and a work address. We aim to review within two business days. Approval opens the workspace with a 14-day trial, and the invoice follows when you decide to continue, unless the workspace comes with your review.

  • Reader

    Free

    No card, no application.

For anyone with an email address: readers, students, patients and families, journalists.

    Today

    • Every published synthesis, in full, with or without an account
    • An account of your own: your sign-in, your terms, your workspace
    • Pins: keep syntheses, claims and figures on your home
    • Send us evidence and follow what we decide

    Planned

    • Five questions a month, each answered with citations
    • The weekly change email

Sign in with your email, Google or Microsoft and accept the terms. The account is yours at once.

  • Academic

    Free

    With verification.

For researchers, students and trial teams at a university or hospital.

    Today

    • Everything a Reader has
    • A verified identity: your workplace, an academic address you control and your ORCID record, confirmed by us
    • The academic rate on a commissioned review and on living updates

    Planned

    • Unlimited questions with citations
    • Figure and data exports
    • Alerts when a synthesis changes
    • Print briefs

Add your workplace, an academic address you control and your ORCID iD on your identity page, then submit them for review. Once verified, write to accounts@violema.com and we switch the plan on. A team at the academic rate: ask us the same way.

How an application works

  1. Sign in with your email, Google or Microsoft, and accept the terms. That is a Reader account.
  2. Ask for a team workspace from your account. We ask for the organization's legal name, website and country, and for a work email address.
  3. We aim to review within two business days and write back with a decision or a question.
  4. On approval the workspace opens with a 14-day trial, and you can invite your colleagues.
  5. When you decide to continue, Violema, Inc. sends an invoice, and the plan starts when it is paid. If the trial ends first, the workspace stays and falls back to Reader; nothing is charged.

Invoices, not cards

Violema, Inc. issues every invoice by bank transfer, due in 30 days: annual for a team workspace, per the signed pilot letter for a commissioned review. Card payments come later. A team workspace keeps the price on this page on the day we approve you for its whole term; a review's fee is the one in its letter. A term renews by a new invoice, never by itself. To stop, write to accounts@violema.com before the term ends.
